Fredo Santana‘s birthday lands right on the independence of America. To celebrate his birthday [July 4], Fredo has released a brand new mixtape. Fred0 Mafia comes equipped with 12 tracks, and some pretty notable features as well. Releasing the project a day prior to the holiday was a strategic move; whether it was done on purpose or not.

Taking the mafia theme, the mixtape features Maxo Kream, Chief Keef, Yung Gleesh, and more. The tape is produced entirely by 808 Mafia, with Metro Boomin being the only other producer. Metro works closely with the Mafia, so it’s all a family setting on the tape.

“Gun Violence” featuring Chief Keef was previously released as a single from the tape. It came roughly four days ago and prepped us for the full material we have to our ears now. “Fredo Kruger 2 drops September 1st,” Fredo took to his Twitter account to announce, which will follow up his 2013 release.

It’s a great way to celebrate his birthday and on a holiday. The tape is available on multiple media streaming services. Fredo Mafia should be more than enough music to keep fans patient until the release of his Fredo Kruger 2. Until then, enjoy the sounds of his latest work.
