Former Destiny’s Child member LaTavia Roberson was rushed to the hospital due to pregnancy complications yesterday [Monday, July 4].
According to The Shaderoom, the singer’s pregnancy was not going as planned and she’s reportedly fighting for her life. Her current status is still up in the air.
LaTavia is one of the original members of Destiny’s Child before herself, LeToya Luckett and Farrah Franklin got the boot in 2000 for Michelle Williams. Although she didn’t make much noise on the music scene after her girl-group stint, she did continue to work as a singer and actress. She also appeared on reality show R&B Divas: Atlanta.
LaTavia already has a three-year-old daughter with producer Don Vito, named Lyric Richard. Roberson had just posted a carefree photo enjoying her baby-bump on Instagram three days ago, which signaled no signs of trouble. Our prayers are with her and her family.
