Beast Mode by Zaytoven and Future hit us hard at the beginning of 2015. The nine-track project was accompanied with some hits many say they hold high in Future’s catalog. “Lay Up,” “Peacoat,” and “Real Sisters” are some of the songs that proved Future to still be in his creative zone. With a second installment in the works, we get word of an interesting feature.
Drake is confirmed to be on the second installment of Beast Mode. Titled Beast Mode 16, Future and Zaytoven have been hard at work on the project. Zaytoven confirmed with AllHipHop.com there will be one song featuring Drake for certain, but another one may make the cut. “We got one, maybe two for Beast Mode 16,” Zaytoven said on Drake-assisted tracks.
Do we ever get a break from Future? He’s always up to something. Just when we think Future is taking a break, he bounces right back with more material. DJ Khaled’s “I Got The Keys” featuring JAY Z is a hard single from DJ Khaled’s forthcoming Major Key album. On top of of that, we’re not removed too far from DJ Esco‘s Project E.T.
Zaytoven has his hands tied in a lot of projects at the moment. He’s working closely with Gucci Mane, prepping Everybody Looking. It’s Gucci’s first studio album since being locked away. Zaytoven said he makes multiple beats a day, keeping them even if he doesn’t like the sound. He may go back and chop up certain parts, eventually find the sound he’s looking for.
