The tragic, sniper style shooting of twelve police officers that wounded five of them fatally has impacted several individuals, families as well as celebrities. One of the most touching stories was that of veteran actor Cuba Gooding Jr.
Back in February, Gooding met Dallas Police Officer Patrick Zamarripa, the 32 year old father and Iraq war vet who was killed by a sniper along with four other fellow officers on Thursday night during a Black Lives Matter rally.
The Academy Award wining actor said that he cried when he learned that he posed for a photo that the slain officer posted on Twitter just a few months earlier.
