It’s been a while since Tinashe first teased her sophomore album, Joyride, the much-anticipated follow-up to her critically-acclaimed debut album, Aquarius, which was released in 2014. Tinashe dropped a successful Top 40 hit, “Player” featuring Chris Brown, earlier this year, but has released another “lead single” for Joyride today titled “Superlove,” produced by The Dream.
Chances are, Tinashe fought to get “Player” stricken from the final version of her album, given the shots that Chris Brown threw at her on social media a few months ago. Instead, Joyride will be preceded by the dance-inducing “Superlove,” which sounds very much like the ’80’s love jam Tinashe intended it to be.
You can listen to the enjoyable new single below, and get ready for Joyride which is impacting this fall, per an RCA Records press release.
