French Montana keeps the tracks coming back-to-back, dropping another single off his forthcoming album with the release of the new song “Two Times.”
Produced by Maaly Raw, the heavy-hitting track finds French spitting about money, power and respect. “Me and Cash in the Lamb’, we got two chains/Came from the bottom like loose change/Jumpin’ on these n*ggas, 23/She jabbin’ on these suckers for her fee/They know the dope real on the real though/She got her legs open like field goal, yeah,” Montana raps.
Just last night the Bad Boy MC released the Drake collab “No Shopping,” putting himself in the cross-hairs of the Drizzy and Joe Budden beef. The New Jersey rapper already warned French to “mind your f*cking business” in the matter with him and Drake. With the release of this new song where Aubrey is clearly taking shots at the “Pump It Up” rapper, Montana might find himself guilty by association.
The 6 God dropped plenty of subliminals directed at Budden on the song starting with the beginning of his verse. “Pump, pump, pump it up, she got a good head on her, but I pump it up / I’m not a one hit wonder, they know all my stuff, you let me turn into the n*gga that you almost was,” raps Drake on the track. “I done seen a lot of shit and I done been in things, and I never started nothin’, I just finish things / And I’m still off like the man that brought me in this thing, how you out here celebratin’ like the winnin’ team?”‘
Budden was quick to respond with the track “Afraid,” and the saga continues.
Montana’s long overdue sophomore album MC4 is set to drop on Aug. 19.
