After going viral with her take on Beyoncé’s hit track “7/11,” Kyla ran with her inspiration fueled by the iconic singer and went on to develop her new EP Sweet Tea. A visual album, the multi-talented artist exhibits all of her talents from singing, dancing, and even a little bit of acting.

Singing about topics that actually pertain to her life like slumber parties and hanging out with friends, Kyla delivers a piece of work that young girls can relate to and celebrate being just that: young. Focusing on enjoying still being a kid, Kyla introduces an alternative for young listeners who just want to enjoy music they don’t have to worry about their parents grounding them for listening to.
