Beanie Sigel vs. Jadakiss was one of the most formidable rap beefs of the 2000’s. It involved multiple searing diss tracks and eventually spread to a crew riff, thus birthing the memorable Roc-A-Fella/Lox tension. These diss tracks didn’t consist of the subliminal shots and witty entendres that we’ve become accustomed to, either. These were direct shots that sometimes crossed perceived boundaries, but it was all in the name of very competitive rap.
