It was the freestyle heard around the world. Desiigner‘s tribal “Timmy Turner” night call went from a magazine cover teaser to the planted seeds of another hit record, and he’s well aware of the anticipation he’s brought about.

Shortly after the freestyle went viral, brief video clips of the Brooklyn rapper and G.O.O.D. Music producer/engineer Mike Dean tweaking the song at the latter’s home also went viral, and “Timmy Turner” fever had officially begun. The song, which also sounded as if it featured Desiigner’s label mate Travi$ Scott, would later be granted official single artwork, and will likely be found on the Def Jam rapper’s debut album, Life of Desiigner, which has no release date at this time.

For now, however, Desiigner and Dean will continue to add to the hype for the song, which they do again in the above video clip, which is a brief piano cover of “Timmy Turner.”
