East has been hard at work, often mentioning his dedication and influence in getting NYC rap back to its roots; and things are finally starting to show for it. One of the greatest artists to come out of New York, Nas officially co-signed East early in his career—and anybody who knows Hip Hop knows that’s a huge deal.

Just off of the strength of that fact, it should be understood that East has some serious talent.
