Singer Justin Bieber is looking to utilize his acting chops, but only to a certain extent.
According to film writer Pete O’ Neil, Bieber is in talks to play a starring role in his upcoming film, Uber Girl. Setting himself up to practically play himself, the role Bieber is up for is that of a pop star. While Bieber has not officially taken on the role just yet, he is reportedly under negotiations to do so.
Concerned about a particular sex scene, according to Pete, Bieber, “… won’t take the part unless the sex scene with him and one of the male backup dancers is taken out of the final script.” With Pete looking to cast Selena Gomez along with Ariana Grande and Kiernan Shipka, maybe the Gomez casting might change Bieber’s tune.
Still in the process of looking for a big studio to co-produce the movie, the independently produced film is still very much so in the early stages.
