About a month ago, Nipsey Hussle took to his Instagram to announce yet another #MarathonMonday campaign in partnership with World Star Hip Hop. Along with new tracks dropping every Monday, we can expect “New Hussle Visuals” dropping weekly.
Today [July 26] we received the video for the previously released song, “Picture Me Rollin”. The new video shows Nipsey Hussle, OverDoz and Dave East standing their ground against the police.
The songs lyrics intertwine perfectly with the symbolism of the video as Nipsey describes the opposition he is facing in various aspects of his life. Despite the circumstances, Nipsey raps about how he always manages to overcome.
The Marathon Monday series has been quite the success thus far and it only makes us more excited to finally witness what Nipsey’s been cooking up for the Victory Lap album.
