DJ Khaled stopped by Ebro in the Morning today [Wednesday, July 27] and compared to most of his appearances, this one wasn’t as eventful. Maybe because Ebro is in Japan, but nevertheless, the interview with Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg was insightful.

He detailed Nas‘ involvement on his highly anticipated forthcoming EP, Major Key. There’s a song on the album titled, “Nas Album Done.” Nas is “going in,” on it according to Khaled. The song also has a “major” sample of the The Fugee‘s “Fu-Gee-La.” It’s the third track on the album and Khaled promises that it’s going to be lit.

He also revealed that when he met POTUS Obama they spoke about how they can “uplift the world, the community.” He said, “When I went to see Obama at the White House it was very amazing, I was very inspired.” Obama also told Khaled, in order to uplift he people he has to “let people know if you ever fall, if you’ve ever been through something, that you can actually get up and move forward.”
