Last year EW reported Smith’s production company, Overbook Entertainment, is developing a family comedy series that is said to share similarities with the ’90s sitcom that made Will Smith a household name.

Although Smith’s reign as the Fresh Prince ended two decades ago, he will always be the Fresh Prince in our hearts. He even told Graham Norton himself in a 2012 interview before performing the theme song, “Every country in the world, that is the thing I am most known for. No matter how big the movies get, it’s Fresh Prince everywhere.”
