This track definitely gives you a listen inside what the entire album feels like. Lil Durk 2X is filled with this kind of energy, and it was something that Durk did intentionally, saying it was something missing from his debut album, Remember My Name.
âYou learn from your mistake and see where you mess up at,â Lil Durk said. âOn Remember My Name, everything was solid. I talk to the streets and I told my story. But we didnât have no good vibes though. We didnât have something that when it comes on you jump to it. Only the song with Logic âTryna Trynaâ had energy. So a lot of the songs on Lil Durk 2X have energy. We touch a lot of areas. I wanted to touch on different sides.â
