Lil Durk the superhero? According to the Chicago rapper, he has “Super Powers” in his new video for the single off of Lil Durk 2X. “When I get dressed I got super powers/What’s in my cup give me super powers/Niggas tell tales and they super sour/I’m in my zone, I got super powers,” Durk raps in the Young Chop produced, autotuned banger.
This track definitely gives you a listen inside what the entire album feels like. Lil Durk 2X is filled with this kind of energy, and it was something that Durk did intentionally, saying it was something missing from his debut album, Remember My Name.
“You learn from your mistake and see where you mess up at,” Lil Durk said. “On Remember My Name, everything was solid. I talk to the streets and I told my story. But we didn’t have no good vibes though. We didn’t have something that when it comes on you jump to it. Only the song with Logic “Tryna Tryna” had energy. So a lot of the songs on Lil Durk 2X have energy. We touch a lot of areas. I wanted to touch on different sides.”
