Two of pop culture’s biggest icons, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, will be joining forces in a forthcoming weekly reality series.
Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party will be coming to your television set on VH1 this fall. The duo will invite their celebrity friends over to enjoy a half-baked evening of conversation, food, and cocktails. According to Martha, “Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way.”
Snoop seems pretty excited for the upcoming series and says he has a “special bond” with Martha:
My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!
The special bond they share was obvious in their appearances on ABC’s $100,000 Pyramid, in addition to appearances on Stewart’s talk show and the Justin Bieber Comedy Central Roast. The show is sure to be a success.
