The NMD has been making waves in sneakerhead circles this summer. Adding to the existing silhouette, adidas has unveiled a new NMD_XR1, featuring a micro-rib upper just for the ladies.
Using an all-over knit construction as a base, the sneaker features a two-tone microrib knit to add a contemporary touch to the caged NMD silhouette. On the lateral side, a pure white cage makes an appearance, contrasting the vintage white tones of the knit upper. One of the most interesting updates is the addition of a premium suede heel patch, as opposed to the typical TPU material.
The adidas Originals NMD_XR1 is set to release globally August 18.
