The .Paak and Chris Le-directed clip features animation and live action. The beginning of the video finds .Paak picking strawberries in the rain, handing out soup in “Hell’s Kitchen” and taking out the trash to a dump ruled by a monster with Donald Trump’s face.

In the “Carry Me” section .Paak is seated in a therapist’s office telling stories of his childhood when the singer runs out to find deliverance from a group of people in white robes who eventually baptize him. For “The Waters” the artist links up with BJ the Chicago Kid—both dressed in all white—for some fun in front of a dark, aquatic backdrop. The video ends with .Paak rising from water.
