Taran Killam’s new show is reportedly called Mating, which will center around a character that is newly divorced and trying to get back out into the dating scene. Of course, his character will have no idea how to date anymore and he will have to stumble through the dating world.

Jay Pharaoh’s show is reportedly going to be about a black comedian trying to navigate his growing fame and keep his credibility as he becomes mainstream popular, that is, he has a growing white audience. The show will reportedly be called White Famous, and Pharaoh will play the main character. Jamie Foxx will also be one of the show’s executive producers.

According to E Weekly, the actors were already in talks with Showtime over these shows, but now that they have been released from their contracts, the projects have been able to move forward. The two took to Twitter to express their happiness about starting new phases in their careers.
