OVO’s Roy Wood$ dropped his album Waking At Dawn just a few months back which consisted of a few standout tracks. Ever since, he’s been on fire, joining Drake and Future on tour. Now he revisits one of his dancehall-infused tracks ‘Gwan Big Up Urself’ for a new video.
Word on the street is that after Drake‘s tracks like ‘Controlla’ and ‘One Dance’, this is one of the best songs to be released this summer and it stays gaining more popularity. Since it’s release the record has gained the likes of Justine Skye, Wiz Khalifa and more.
For the video Roy brought out his Brampton community, filming it at his high school, celebrating the good times with plenty of coconuts, good food and great looking tings. In the video Roy Wood$ also brought out Reps Up’s Sha Hustle and the original T-Dot legend Kardinal Offishall, who makes a cameo appearance halfway through the video in a skit.
