Orange Is the New Black star Jackie Cruz gets vocal about mentoring other aspiring individuals. The actress’ partnership with Rémy Martin puts focus on her singing abilities and her advice others on their own musical journey.
With other multi-talented celebrities, Cruz joins the Circle of Centaurs program organized by the liquor company’s One Life/Live Them initiative. She will host a series of video classes. And one mentee will have the chance to receive one-on-one guidance from Cruz herself.
“I don’t have one dream, I have many, and I believe everyone should cultivate their many talents to live a rich and fulfilling life,” said Cruz in a statement, “I am honored and delighted to work with Rémy Martin and have the opportunity to mentor an aspiring musician and help them fulfill his or her dream.”
The partnership comes with a contest that runs until September 23. To participate and possibly win Cruz’ personal mentorship, you must write an original song and record a video of you singing it.
