As the summer begins to cool down, so do the relationships and flings that come along with it. Some things just weren’t meant to last and that’s okay. As you begin to update your playlist with a few breakup bangers, add the latest in Atlanta’s underground R&B.

“No X” is a bass-heavy collaboration by the emerging talents of Destiny Briona and Shamba, hailing from the southern Mecca of music itself. Both paired with their own distinctive set of vocals, the two ladies hop on the track to melodically close the door on a good relationship gone bad once and for all.

While Destiny’s to-the-point lyricism and unwavering tone delivers the message with a harmonious quickness, it’s a slight shift in range and an intangible vocal dominance from Shamba that gracefully places the bow on the exceptional package that is “No X.”
