The 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards nominations are in and for the third year in a row, Drake leads all nominations with 14. The “One Dance” rapper is nominated for ‘MVP of the Year,’ ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘Hustler of the Year,’ ‘Best Hip-Hop Video,’ ‘Track of the Year,’ ‘People’s Champ Award,’ and 3 nods for ‘Best Collabo, Duo or Group,’ amongst others.
His current tour mate Future boasts 10 nods, including ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘Hustler of the Year,’ ‘Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style),’ ‘Best Mixtape,’ and ‘Best Collabo, Duo, or Group.’ DJ Khaled, also known as the “King of Snapchat” with over seven million followers, who has also been named the host of the ceremony, has nine nominations, including ‘DJ of the Year.’

Best New Hip-Hop Artist’ Award includes newcomers Chance the Rapper, Desiigner, Bryson Tiller, Tory Lanez and Anderson .Paak.
The event, which will premiere on Tuesday, October 4 at 8:00pm ET, will be night of electrifying cyphers, powerful performances and legendary tributes!
