Blige was criticized for her slightly off-key performance, and for the fact that she was singing about police brutality instead of seriously addressing the issues. Since the backlash, Blige responded on Twitter, telling her haters to shut up, but she has since deleted the tweet.

The actual interview marks the beginning of Mary J. Blige’s new show on Apple Music, called The 411 with Mary J. Blige, with the title  referencing her song from the 90s, “What’s the 411?”. The interview centers around police brutality and issues of race, and how Hillary would address those issues if she were elected President.

The interview is 30 minutes long, and you can watch it on Apple Music here.
