Fresh off the heels of the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards, DJ Khaled premiered the video for his track “Do You Mind” featuring Nicki Minaj, August Alsina, Chris Brown, Jeremih, Future, and Rick Ross. The beautiful model Bernice Burgos joined the cast as Khaled’s love interest.
The extravagant video takes place in a giant house with a beautiful pool and garden. You can bet there was tons of product placement, from Ciroc to Kandypen vaporizor pens from Galaxy. The video starts off with Burgos throwing Khaled’s clothes off the balcony in their home, and ends with Khaled gifting Burgos with a necklace after she promises not to stress him out anymore so that he can “maneuver the jungle focusedly.”
The video was released at a rather favorable time for Khaled. He took home the awards for DJ of the Year, MVP of the Year, and Hustler of the Year at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards. He announced that his book titled The Keys is in the works, and his single “For Free” featuring Drake went certified platinum.
