After a leak last month revealed Kanye West’s verse on Desiigner’s remix of “Timmy Turner,” the official remix dropped today. No surprises on the official remix, as Kanye’s verse has stayed the same since the leak. The original version of “Timmy Turner” came on Desiigner’s mixtape, No English, which dropped back in June.
Desiigner’s career has been filled with hype since day one, ever since “Panda” became an over night hit and he signed with G.O.O.D. Music. The original version of “Timmy Turner” created the same, if not more buzz than “Panda” did, especially after Desiigner teased it at the BET Hip Hop Awards. And while some might say the song didn’t live up to all the hype, it was still a strong follow up effort for the young star.
