It has been six months since Prince made his transition and for many it still feels like yesterday. There is a large population still mourning his death. Last night, the highly anticipated tribute concert took place at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. Fans from all over the world came to celebrate the music and life of the artistic genius that changed the lives many through his music, talents, and philanthropic efforts.
The sold out concert started with a short message from President Barack Obama and musical greats such as Stevie Wonder, Tori Kelly, Chaka Khan, Morris Day & The Time, Jessie J, Nicole Scherzinger, Judith Hill, Doug E. Fresh, and more honored Prince with unforgettable performances.
Fans came together and became family in honor of one of the greatest musicians of our time. “Many fans and friends all over the world wanted to have the chance to honor, memorialize and celebrate this incredible man. We’re thrilled we were able to make this happen,” said L. Londell McMillan
