The latest television news will excite billions of mobile game users around the world. CBS will broadcast a new game show based on the mobile craze, “Candy Crush Saga.”

President of CBS Entertainment, Glenn Geller, said in a statement, “We are huge fans of ‘Candy Crush’ and, like so many others, we know the ‘rush’ of advancing to the next level of the game.” Yes, we absolutely can relate with that “rush” and constant need to keep playing — which is why viewers will be thrilled to be able to interact with the hour show from their couches and phones.

Lionsgate Television, Pulse Creative, and King Ltd. are helping the network bring the mobile game to a larger screen and much larger playing field. The game show will feature two-person teams taking on interactive game boards. With the same executive producer of “Wipeout” and “Fear Factor,” we are expecting nothing sort of epic.

Candy Crush is in the works. So far, no one has been named show host. Stay tuned for more sweet updates.
