On November 11th they are scheduled to release their final project which also happens to be their first project in 18 years, titled “We Got It From Here, Thank You For Your Service”. The album will have its share of high profile features as well including Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Busta Rhymes, Jack White and Elton John. The albums title was a suggestion from fellow ATCQ member, the late great Phife Dawg who passed away earlier this year from diabetes complications.

According to Busta Rhymes, the recording process of the album came with a certain rule for the artists that would be contributing. In a recent New York Times article Busta was quoted saying “If you wrote your rhyme somewhere else, you still had to come back and lay your verse in Q-Tip’s house,” he added, “so we pretty much did every song together. Everybody wrote his stuff in front of everybody. Everybody spat their rhymes in front of each other. We were throwing ideas around together.”
