There’s a story behind this track titled “Can’t Call It.” Backed by J. Cole, J.I.D, Bas, and EarthGang, Cole’s verse found its way onto DJ Khaled’s latest album, Major Key.

Hollywood JB, EarthGang, and J.I.D, make up the group Spillage Village. Its been reported that the group had a relationship with Dreamville, then recording the track “Can’t Call It” with Bas. J.Cole heard the instrumental and couldn’t resist the urge to hop on the track. Going in over the Hollywood JB-produced beat, Cole’s solo efforts found its way onto Khaled’s album, as “Jermaine’s Interlude.” But that’s not where the story for this track ends. Spillage Village has now issued out the official 6-minute version of the song. The track will appear on their Bears Like This Too Much LP, slated for a Dec. 2 release.
