Pennsylvania hip-hop artist, Dubby, has been making his mark in the music industry in some major ways over the past year. This summer, he debuted his first album on Apple Music entitled “Heart & Havoc” while also dropping a very influential and creative music video for his single off the project, “CHASE”.
The music of this small town artist goes so much deeper than a lot of the underground hip-hop we’ve heard over the past couple years. There is attention to detail throughout each composition that can only be rationalized by experience in the field. Dubby is on his own wave with a sound influenced by the likes of Jon Bellion and Fat Trel. Polar opposites that created the grit coexisting with soothing harmony that can easily be described as Pennsylvania’s hidden gem. Check out the visual of “CHASE” below.
