Last night, the Toronto Raptors played host to the Golden State Warriors. An highly anticipated match up that Raptors fans were looking forward to, this matchup so happened to fall on ” Drake Night”. The OVO general made an expected but yet intriguing appearance sporting a sweater with a young lady’s face with the font under that reads ‘WOMEN CRUSH EVERYDAY”. The woman’s face that was on the sweater was non other than NBA on ESPN analyst Doris Burke.

Talk about a slam dunk, Burke is a legendary WCE on and off the court. Before she became one of the voices you hear on NBA 2k17, and appearing on ESPN’s NBA Countdown show, the Long Island native was handing out buckets fan and dropping dimes at Providence College. In her senior year, she led the Big East conference in assists and was named college Co-Female Of The Year. Burke graduated from Providence as the all time assist leader, a record that stood until 2012 and was inducted into the school’s athletic program’s hall of fame in 1999.

It seems like Drake can recognize a baller when he sees one. If Toronto had a WNBA team, we all know who Aubrey would vouch to make his franchise player.
