Corey Lee’s train of success doesn’t look like it’ll stop anytime soon. Up-and-coming waves that swim their way out of the Philadelphia area, Corey has gained looks from respected publications. “Cam Newton” and “Carlton Banks” are two of his biggest singles, which have earned him a combined for over 82,000 plays on Soundcloud. Now with his new single “Billboard Melodies” ranging in for his forthcoming album, the Norristown artist will look to make 2017 more than memorable.
“For people who haven’t been following me, all year I’ve been putting out quality music and I have started to gain some recognition outside of my city & state,” Corey explained. “From tour stops in Brooklyn with the legend Ice-T to back in Philly with the likes of PNB Rock and Tunji Ige. Received recognition from Sonny Digital & Cardo got wings & I’ve just been riding my own wave. I started the year off with records produced by Yung Trel so I felt it was only right to end the year that way. I wanted to capture my 2016 with this record pretty much. I also wanted to let everybody know where I hope to be in 2017 & that’s somewhere on the billboard charts.”
