Although fans haven’t gotten a new project from Vinny Cha$e this year (prior to today), it’s evident that the label owner, director, and designer hasn’t lost his focus when it comes to the microphone. The NYC native injects his unique style into both music and fashion, becoming more and more of an all-around entrepreneur as time continues. Today V. Cha$e decides to appease his anxious fans with the release of “EXPRESS 2 HARLEM“.
“EXPRESS 2 HARLEM” serves as a teaser for fans who are patiently waiting on his highly anticipated project “Lagerfeld Season 7” (LS7). With that being said however, this “teaser” contains nothing but quality work. The project contains twelve tracks in total, and although five of them consist of brief skits, these skits aid in projecting that vintage New York City vibe only Cha$e can deliver.
As stated previously, its been a little bit since VC blessed his fans with a new tape. “The Cheers Club” founder released his last project during the spring of 2015. His tape “Trapper Keeper” with frequent collaborator Kid Art was truly one of a kind. VC never fails to put on for his hometown, paying homage to his Harlem roots on nearly every record. “E2H” is a great example of how dynamic he is as an artist.
