After dropping a handful of tracks recently, Juelz decided to come hard with his latest single. Tapping Hip Hop legends and former labelmates Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Method Man and Redman, Juelz has released his 90s reminiscent track, “Ol Thing Back” and it’s nothing short of excellent.

The gritty track, produced by Roc Nation’s own Jahlil Beats, features Jadakiss leading off with a demeanor only he could bring.

You’ll forever be a nerd / And your metaphors are better off never being heard / I came in grimy / Puff’ made me shiny / Put ’em both together, a protege of the ’90s / Grew up, put that old shit behind me / Started makin’ niggas’ demises untimely.”

Mr. Mef then hops on the track opening with the chorus of his classic 90s joint “Method Man” before ripping the mic and passing it to the left-hand side to be finished off by none other than his partner in rhyme Redman. With all of this lyricism on one track, Juelz came with it, opening with a few lines of another Mef classic,“Bring The Pain”; Santana laughs at the quality of the current music as he spits about the monotony in Hip Hop and the unfairness in 360 deals. All in all, if this.

If this track is any indicator of what we can expect from Juelz in 2017, the rap game is in trouble.
