Chris Rock started off his career doing stand up comedy, then joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in the early 1990s. He leveled up to more prominent film appearances and starred in Down to Earth, Head of State, the Madagascar series, and a few comedy specials for HBO.
Rock developed, wrote, and narrated the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris. He also hosted the Academy Awards twice and won four Emmy Awards and three Grammy Awards. Additionally, Comedy Central dubbed him the fifth greatest stand up comedian.
