The guy goes from not even being able to get a scholarship offer in colleged to leading the SEC with 1,039 reception yards and hauling in 12 touchdowns his senior year.

For me to just be able to do something like that is always a great feeling man,” Reynolds told Scoop B Radio before last months 2017 NFL Draft in Philadelphia. “Just to have my name out there like I have always wanted to since I was a little kid and in high school growing up.”

Scouts have been comparing Reynolds to NFL wide receiver Marvin Jones, of the Detroit Lions. Not a bad comparison. Jones averaged 17 yards a catch and had 55 receptions this past seasonfor 4 TD’s. Reynolds sees the similarities in their games.

Yeah I actually you know when I first started seeing stuff and hearing they are comparing me to Marvin Jones I definitely youtube’d him,” Josh Reynolds told host, Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson in his pre draft interview. “And I do see a lot of myself in him so thats always good to get a comparison to a good athlete. I mean a good player like that.”

Although now a member of the Rams, Reynolds grew up wishing he could catch big pases from marquee quarterbacks. “Alright so if we are on the opposite team’s 30 or 40 for a deep ball or something I’m going Aaron Rodgers,” he said. “But if I am anywhere in the red zone or anything 25 and up pretty much red zone Im going Peyton Manning or I mean Tom Brady, not Peyton Manning.”
