A construction company owned by Black Women will be helping with clean water in Flint, Michigan. A local construction company called W.T. Stevens Construction are replacing 18,000 water pipes. Rhonda Grayer and retired NBA player Jeff Grayer are in charge of this construction company and efforts.

This new development has opened positions for dozens of new workers. The beginning process provided new labor jobs from clerical to plumbing. The project will be funded by the state and federal for a multi-million dollar contract. W.T. will now be the only company of four in Flint making attempts to resolve the water condition.
