OVO’s talented singer, Roy Woods, gave us an update about his project in the form of a smooth freestyle. His new album, Say Less, is projected to drop sometime later this year. Although this R&B singer is consistent, he is also relatively lowkey, so each time he drops a piece it feels like a special occasion.

The “Say Less Freestyle” made its appearance as a surprise exclusive during the live Episode 47 of OVO Sound Radio.

Roy Woods began making serious waves back in 2015 when he dropped multiple hit songs, such as “Get You Good” as well as “Drama”, which features his fellow OVO member, Drake. He has three projects under his belt already: Waking at Dawn, Nocturnal and Exis. His compilations are known for being relatively short and sweet, as the longest one is only 10 tracks in length. Earlier this summer, Roy Woods also dropped a visual for his collab with MadeInTYO, titled “Instinct”. The track can be found on his most recent project, Nocturnal. Watch the video here.

Hopefully the Say Less album experiences no delays or complications. In the meantime, you can listen to the freestyle below.
