J.I.D, Dreamville’s recent signee, has remained relatively humble and lowkey since the drop of his debut studio album, The Never Story, back in March this year. The project was very well-received, and he has currently been killing it at arenas as an opener on J. Cole’s “4 Your Eyez Only” tour, alongside his other label mates, Ari Lennox and Bas.
Today, the Atlanta rapper dropped some new material for his fans. Titled “Hasta Luego”, this new track was almost good enough to be on the album, but didn’t make the final cut. J.I.D broke the news about the song by posting the cover art on his Instagram with the caption: “7/11 7/11 7/11 A record that was almost on ‘The Never Story’ for all the fans, friends and family that’s been down or just got down or whatever the f**k, we dropping something for you guys.”
