Will the Former Heat Duo reunite in Cleveland?
Rumors have speculated that Dwyane Wade will soon be a member of the already stacked Cleveland Cavaliers. Looks like the Cavs front office is gearing up for the regular season by taking action this off-season. The team signed Derrick Rose a month ago and just finished up a trade that sent Kyrie Irving to the Celtics for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and a 2018 Nets 1st-rounder. Now it seems like the Cavs aren’t done just yet. Earlier this month, it was reported that the Chicago Bulls and Dwyane Wade will soon reach a buyout that could place Mr. Wade in position to be a free-agent. Wade who has 3 championships could possibly be on a hunt for his 4th title, and whom other to do it with than his close friend, LeBron James.
The NBA off-season has been a crazy one and with the Golden State Warriors taking all the shine, GM’s have stepped up their game big time. This follows a report from ESPN.com’s Nick Friedell on August 17 about Wade’s status with the Chicago Bulls. The Cavaliers could use a veteran like Wade on their team and with his experience he could teach younger players around him the ropes.
The storyline would be one for the history books, but with the addition of Wade could that be enough to take down the NBA Champs?
