Against the wishes of her father, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s biopic will air as planned this weekend on TV One despite legal efforts by Bobby Brown to cease and desist airing of the program.
“Today, the court rejected a motion for a preliminary injunction filed by Bobby Brown and the Estate for Bobbi Kristina Brown that sought to enjoin the network’s airing of the original movie, ‘Bobbi Kristina,’” a statement from TV One bosses to The Blast reads.
“We are pleased with the court’s ruling and look forward to sharing this poignant look at the life of Bobbi Kristina Brown with our audience on Sunday on TV One.”
TV One execs claim that the storyline follows Bobby Brown’s autobiography “Every Little Step”, but Brown himself says that the TV One special is “full of lies”.
Meanwhile, famed actress Vivics Fox, who plays Bobbi’s aunt Pat Houston, insists that she would n Ver be a part of anything detrimental to Whitney Houston’s legacy.
“That (Whitney) was my girl and I love her and I miss her… When we decided to do The Bobbi Kristina Story we did this story with absolute love and respect. That was my friend. I would never ever be involved with anything to defame the legacy of one of our true queens.”
