Amanda Seales wants you to buy a passport instead of Jordans.
HBO’s Insecure star received backlash on Twitter this morning after she sent out a series of tweets about financial priorities in conjunction with traveling overseas. The trending tweet from the actress that set it off stated, “If you’re buying Jordans and Nike Suits but you don’t have a PASSPORT, YOU’RE LOSING.”

Seales continued to tweet and said that people are “losing” if they’re purchasing multiple Jordans and Nike Suits, but don’t own a credit card or know their credit score. She then followed up with a next set of more encouraging ‘winning’ tweets.
