Pizza Hut is all about securing the bag, the fashion bag that is.
The multi-billion dollar pizza company has spent the last two years researching and developing an all-new delivery system, utilizing thermal technology to help keep your pizza warm. To commemorate the occasion, Pizza Hut is releasing a limited edition Pizza Parka. The new Parka is made from the same material as the new delivery pouch.
“What consumers want more than anything else is a hot pizza, which is why we couldn’t be more excited about the system we have developed to make sure we serve a hot, crispy and craveable Pizza Hut pizza every time,” said Zipporah Allen, the VP of marketing of Pizza Hut, in a press release. “This is just another way that Pizza Hut is making it easier for pizza fans to get a better pizza.”
Both the Parka and the delivery pouch combines 3M Thinsulate Insulation thermal technology, used in winter jackets, with a PET Aluminum Radiant Barrier, a material usually found in Astronauts suits. The parka is said to feature a weather-resistant outer crust, dual parmesan and red peppers pockets, and a marinara splash guard to protect phones.
Interesting to say the least. “The Pizza Parka is going to keep the lucky recipients hot in the same cold-weather elements that our pizzas often endure on the delivery tri from our restaurants to their front door.” Said Allen. Anyone who orders online between now and the end of the month, will automatically be entered to win a Pizza Parka.
The Parka will not be available in stores.
