Wiz Khalifa has been very quiet lately. But the Pittsburgh emcee confirmed that his forthcoming album is complete, and new music will be on the way soon.
“Albums done. Bout to drop some new music very soon. #GANG,” the rapper wrote in a caption of a picture of him lighting a blunt in the studio.
Wiz didn’t release an album since Blacc Hollywood in 2014. However, he had a groundbreaking smash-hit “See You Again” featuring Charlie Puth on the Fast & Furious 7 soundtrack. The song peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and stayed at the top for 12 non-consecutive weeks. The track is also certified 9x-platinum, and is currently the second most-watched video on YouTube with 3.1 billion views.
Rolling Papers 2 doesn’t have a release date, but it’s still good news for Wiz Khalifa fans.
