2 Chainz states that he’s working on his new album. It’s been almost four months since the Hip-Hop star made came back with Pretty Girls Like Trap Music campaign. The album and campaign was one of the biggest in Hip-Hop culture this year. He stated this week on Instagram, “New album on the way, I’m farther than I thought I was,” he wrote. “Naw I’m lying I knew had some shit brewing #nocap #drenchGOD.”
We are sure that there will be heavy features on the tracks just like his previous album. On the PGLTM album, it was Ty Dolla $ign, Gucci Mane, Migos, Jhene Aiko, Drake, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, and many more. The album went gold on September 12, let alone one of his singles, “4 AM,” on October 6. Two singles including “It’s A Vibe” and “Good Drank” went platinum on October 6 as well. The album itself sold over 500,000 copies.
The College Park rapper recently went on tour with a choir to keep his campaign going. Before the tour started, 2 Chainz broke his leg and doctors told him that he couldn’t go on tour because of the healing process; but 2 Chainz couldn’t let his fans down because he already delayed the tour. So what he had done was had a hand made wheelchair that’s pink with the campaign of PGLTM. He went from city to city performing in a wheelchair with the support of his fans.
