The Lion King has finally found its queen, that’s Queen Bey to be exact. Beyonce officially joined the cast of Disney’s live-action The Lion King. The announcement was made via Facebook on Wednesday.
There has been rumors circulating of the “Formation” singer ‘s involvement in the film for months. But now she is officially on deck to the voice over for Nala.
The cast of the Jon Favreau-directed movie includes Donald Glover as Simba, Nala’s friend and love interest. Plus, James Earl Jones is set to reprise his role as Mufasa from the 1994 animated flick. In addition to those big names the cast also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, John Oliver as Zazu, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, and Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner as Pumbaa and Timon.
