Subsequent to ambiguous N.E.R.D. posters popping up around Los Angeles, the hip-hop band has reunited with their new single “Lemon” featuring Rihanna. Debuted on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Apple Music radio show, the track features a hard hitting cadence.

Marking their first new release since their work on SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water in 2014, N.E.R.D. is officially back in action. The dynamic trio of Chad Hugo, Shay Haley and Pharrell Williams have all returned to form, doing what they do best and that’s creating infectious rhythms. Rihanna raps on the track exerting a hardened attitude. Beginning with the words “No_one Ever Really Dies”, the accompanying video to the song reintroduces a generation to the acronym of N.E.R.D. Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think of Pharrell and N.E.R.D’s hotly anticipated and heavily requested comeback.
