Gabrielle Union shocked the world after she revealed that she was raped at gunpoint when the retail store she was working at during the time was robbed. She opened up more about the incident at the Investigation Discovery president Henry Schleiff’s Inspire a Difference Awards ceremony on Thursday, November 2nd.

She told the crowd that sexual harassment can happen to anyone at anytime. She never thought it would be her because she was the ‘role-model black girl’ and laughed at all the ‘black jokes’. She stressed we need to teach our kids — boys and girls — about good touch and bad touch when it comes to interacting with adults.
The actress was honored for her work with the Rape Foundation when she gave her speech. The guest said, “Alonzo Mourning was handing out tissues to everyone”.
