“Pharrell’s next collection takes us to the hills.”
Pharrell has yet another collaboration up his sleeve with Adidas Originals. This past weekend at ComplexCon, he worked with the brand in conjunction with N.E.R.D. to exclusively reveal their NMD HU Trail shoe and training gear such as hats, hoodies, and sports bras, set to release sometime this month.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the artist collaborated with Adidas Originals yet again, but this time for his own solo venture, the Pharrell Hiking collection. The vibrant hiking collection features several different items including multiple colorways of the HU NMD Trail Shoe, an extensive colorful set of HU Tennis Shoes, and various outdoor pieces including jackets, leggings, and cargo pants. The hiking collection embraces L.A.’s outdoor culture and style of the late ’80s and early ’90s which “culminates as a lighthearted reimagining of nostalgic sportswear designs, framed in the unique perspective of Pharrell Williams.” Pharrell Hiking is available for purchase in stores and online on Friday, November 11.
N.E.R.D. shocked the world on November 1 when they dropped their latest single “Lemon,” featuring Rihanna rapping on the track. It was the group’s first release since 2010 when they dropped their fourth studio album Nothing.
